Card-Miles-Enterprises, LLC and president David Miles have collectively assembled over 150 acres of prime real estate in southeast, Lufkin, Texas for the development of commercial and residential projects.
With a combination of business objectives and the desire to develop a premiere area with character, the Miles Family stepped up and launched several diversified offerings in the early 1990's. The community vision plan identifies a mixed-use inter generational lifestyle that will co-exist with nature and offers leisure and convenience to those who seek this way of life.
Adjacent to National Retailers, Restaurants and Professional Offices, Card Miles has developed "The Courts of Card Forest~ a gated courtyard estate home community and "Timber Cove" an enclave of garden homes. Also, under development is "The Garden District Shopping Village" which consists of a 50 acre shopping center with National Chain Restaurants, a 12-screen Cinema, and many other shopping conveniences.
Miles trusted in his own passion for development and was led by a higher calling to leave a successful career in industrial transportation and petrochemical industries of 14 years where he excelled in marketing, sales and management, coupled with a degree in Geology and Business, and a vision for tomorrow, a career in Real Estate Acquisitions, Development, and Construction has ensued for over 20 years.
David's wife, Martha contributes not only a passion for the environment, but over 30 years of related business experience including construction management, insurance, accounting, administration, and property management. Her gifted ability to detail makes her an accomplished contributor in her own right.
Miles is active in the local Chamber of Commerce as well as the Regional Texas Forest Country and Lufkin's Economic Development Partnership. Affiliated memberships include National Association of Homebuilders, International Council of Shopping Centers, Urban Land Institute, Seniors Housing Council, and Congress of New Urbanism and a member of the Better Business Bureau.
